Recycling and happy mails

I was supposed to babysit this afternoon. But after waiting for about 45 minutes on a bus, I decided it was too much... I called the family and said I couldn't come and went back home. And then a super creative afternoon started. YEAH! Finally I have HOURS just for crafting! Thank you italian chaos and roman buses that are always late :-)
I put music really loud and crafted for hours, literally. Soo, first of all, I made some envelopes from a cardstock but also from some recycled paper, I even used some old maps :-)

And I finished a card for a friend of mine, using a patterned black and white paper, alphabet stamps and lots recycled stuff again:

  1. Fantastic projects and so happy you had a break to get crafty! I'm sure it charged your creative batteries and did your soul some good. :)
BTW, just noticed in your bio that you love Agatha Christie mystery novels. My DD does too and she's working to buy every book she ever wrote. You guys must be kindred spirits!

There's still a long way to go, but i'm happy to have a dream and to follow it!
