DIY:: packaging with Big Shot

Today I'm sharing an easy and short tutorial about how to make little gift boxes, using Big Shot and the dies. Or rather - an idea about how to decorate them - as cutting them with Big Shot is super easy :)

All we need is some paper, Big Shot and Tim Holtz's die cut and some embellishments. I've used bakers twine, patterned paper, butterfly punch and a sewing machine.

1. Cut out the box shape. Mines are from a white cardstock, so the colorful embellishment will stand out.

2. Fold them and glue the edges. The boxes are ready :)

3. Now for the embellishing. I've used circle and heart framelits from Sizzix to cut out a tiny shapes. I'm not sure but I think they come with the machine. The poppy seed patterned paper is my own design :3
I've also punched some butterflies from Crate Paper's patterned paper.

4. That's it: one of my boxes is embellished with the tiny butterflies, another one with raspberry and blueberry bakers twine from Whisker Graphics and the last one is wrapped in a string with circles and hearts.

Super easy, yet perfect for a little gift! Happy crafting :)
