my christmas // winter wonderland

I spent christmas with my family - as I do every year. There was nothing different or special - I mean the same traditions and everything - and yet - everything about it so special! Being together, traditional supper, christmas tree with colorful lights, midnight mass - because yes, it's all about baby Jesus! It's simply the most wonderful time of the year :)

My christmas decoration: white and silver, cones, candles, snowflakes... and a little deer ^_^

Some are unpacking their presents and some are being crazy. Siblings.

Not the best quality photo but definitely having some special time reading Hobbit by the Christmas tree :)

I didn't get loads of presents (and I don't really like receiving too many) but they are lovely! Some perfumes and cosmetics, "Marketing for dummies" book, neckless, a beautiful nail polish and a typewritter! 

We also got few board games and spent the holidays playing. And eating and sleeping.

And when it became too much, we went for a little trip to the mountain. We have a Tatra mountin right "under the nose" as we say here and it's a shame that we hardly ever go there. But we did this Christmas - to see the "frozen basilica". And we almost got frozen literally while waiting to enter!

Ako každý rok, aj tieto vianoce sme strávili v kruhu rodiny. Je to krásny a požehnaný čas, plný dobrého jedla, hier, smiechu (niekedy až hysterického), vône ihličia a leňošenia. Tohto roku sme sa však aj vybrali do Tatier - z kuchyne u rodičov je výhľad na nich úžasný, no napriek tomu, že sme tak blízko, sa priznám, že tam nezavítam veľmi často... Tak sme to tieto vianoce napravili a išli sme sa pozrieť na ľadovú baziliku. Tá krása veru stojí zato (viď foto vyššie).
