Krásne jarno-farebný aprílový kit od Papero Amo. Srdce mi poskočilo, keď som videla tú ružovú, vtáčikov a vellum so zlatými srdiečkami! ♥ Tu sú moje dva layouty z kitu: jeden so selfie s Pepsi - keď už ona pózuje, to treba odfotiť :-D A druhý o kávičke :-) Nápad vystrihnúť názov vo veľkých písmenkách mám od Suse Fish, z jej skvelého videa.

Tvoriť pre ORGANIZATORKA.SK je pre mňa vždy radosť. Pretože: 1. Martinka (majiteľka e-shopu) je neskutočne milá osôbka, ktorá mi vždy s krásnym balíčkom pošle aj milé slovo a zopár darčekov navyšie (teda zatiaľ to bolo len dvakrát, ale mám pocit, že takto virtuálne poznáme už odvždy :-D ) a 2. pretože jej obchodík je zameraný skôr vintage štýlom, čo je pre mňa vždy trochu výzva vzhľadom na to, že môj štýl je odlišný. To je ale super, skúšať niečo nové a kombinovať to s vlastným štýlom! Schválne som si teda vyskladala balíček aj so zopár fakt vintage kúskami, ako napríklad veľka gumená pečiatka s bicyklom, alebo papier s vintage kartičkami :-)

Hi everyone! Today's post is a crafty one again :-) I have recently wrote a blog post for Papero Amo - all about the brushlettering basics (nothing professional, just what I have recently learnt from a youtube tutorials!). It's in slovak // slovenskú verziu nájdete na blogu PA //, so let me share a few tips with all of you who don't speak slovak :-)

In the past few months I've been obsessed with brushlettering and watercolors. That means watching tons of videos on youtube and practicing and practicing (I never get tired of the first one and I often get discouraged at the second one...) Here are some basic rules that I observed and that I think can help your lettering to look more like pro :-D

I LOVE making notebooks and journals. I thought I would make one for the 2016 with just blank pages where I could write, paint, draw, sketch, attach photos, tickets.... ANYTHING really...

So I grabbed A4 white copy papers, one A4 cardstock for the cover, bakers twine, crop-a-dile, a pair of eyelettes, one bigger paper clip and the kit to embellish the front page.

Recycling the packaging, creating a moodboard

The title says it all :) I got to prepare one blog post for Mei Li Paperie where I could choose to create whatever I wanted to. I have a thing for packaging (I'm actually using a LOT of packaging and the bottom stripes from the patterned papers and lots of other things you usually throw away), so I've decided to reuse this BEAUTIFUL acqua paper bag. It was a MUST! Look at how awesome it is! (I know, I'm exagerating a bit, lol)

DIY: shopping pad

Hellooo! I have a quick yet useful tutorial to share with you today that I've made for Papero Amo last week. A pretty shopping pad for your fridge to beautify your kitchen :)

1. Gather your supplies. We're gonna need: a notepad, piece of cardboard, magnet (missing in the picture), hot glue gun, a 12x12 scrapbooking paper, alpha stickers and some embellishments.

It feels like being home again! :D

So, after about a year on wordpress I've decided to move back to blogger. I know many people are doing the opposite - moving to Wordpress from blogger (just as I did) but I guess I just prefer Blogger. It feels more .... friendly! I feel more comfortable with the html and CSS here on Blogger, most of my crafty friends are on Blogger, plus I was super happy to find this tutorial about how to export all the posts from WP to blogger... so here I am again! :)

And I also have a little tutorial I've made for Papero Amo: homemade wrapping paper. Now I know you've seen plenty of ideas and tutorials about that, so let's say that this is just my take on it :)

You'll need stamps (I've used my own stamps LuciaBarabas, Elle's Studio Stamp, KAISERCRAFT's Hummingbird, Cosmo Cricket's cling stamps and Papero Amo feather stamp) and paper - any kind of paper. Mine is a craft paper, office paper and tissue paper.

quick DIY: dyed easter eggs

Hi everyone! Just a quick tutorial about dyed easter eggs. I've seen SO many pictures of this kind of easter eggs on pinterest that I really had to try it. Because I like it :) It's super easy. All you have to do is:

 1. prepare a bowl of water mixed with food color (I've used the blue one) and hard boiled white eggs.

Je stále január a stále si môžete niečo také vytvoriť. Ten môj je už plný plánov a predsavzatí na tento rok, miest, ktoré chcem vidieť, rôzneho organizovania, ktoré tak milujem :D a mnohého iného. Mňa osobne to poháňa dopredu - robiť konkrétne veci, ktoré som si naplánovala a sú čierne na bielom... alebo na farebnom :) Možno je to nápad na dobrú pomôcku aj pre vás :)

december daily 2013:: pages 1-3

Hello and happy december again!

As promised, here is the blog post where I'd like to share first three pages from my December Daily that I've prepared in advance (as while you read this, I'm having fun in Rome :D )

1st page:: is about december in general. Man, it truly is such a cool month of the year! Lots of stuff is gonna happen, so I've decided to dedicate the first page to a little planning :)

2nd page:: now this is really hard. Here's the little story. I blogged about the kitty we found on Sept 2 on the street. We literally saved her life, she stayed with me and I took care of her, while looking for a new home for her. Eventually - just before leaving for Italy, a friend of mine proposed to keep her for some time (and maybe she'll fall in love with her just like I did and keep her ;) ) and on this day - Dec 2 - I brought her to her new home. I'm not gonna lie - I teared up while creating this page :') 'cause this little creature got my heart in these 3 months! She's a pretty little lady now and I wish her best luck and much love in her new home! I will miss you Pepsi!

3rd page:: ok, enough of getting emotional! :) Today - on Dec 3 I'm flying to Rome! I call this city "Rome, my second home" ;) It's been more than one year since I've seen the eternal city for the last time! I'm so excited! Tickets are ready, let's go!

Ako som sľúbila, tu je prvý príspevok s prvými stránkami December Daily:

1.stránka:: je o tom, čo ma čaká počas tohto skvelého mesiaca :) Musím sa priznať, že zima nie je práve jedno z mojich obľúbených ročných období... no december je čarovný mesiac. A tento rok je nabitý aktivitami a zážitkami! Na jeho počesť som sa tak rozhodla venovať prvú stránku takej menšej rekapitulácii :)

2.stránka:: je o zachránenom mačiatku Pepsi. V tento deň totiž Pepsi odišla do nového domova. O jej príbehu som písala v tomto článku na SAShE. Pepsi u mňa bola presne 3 mesiace. Za ten čas si získala moje srdce a mne bude za ňou veľmi smutno! Ďakujem Kristínke, že sa jej ujme, kým sa jej nenájde trvalý domov. 

3.stránka:: check-in spravený, môžem letieť do Ríma, môjho druhého domova! :)
