birthday quote card tutorial

This month's tutorial for Papero Amo is a birthday quote card. I made it for a special friend :) so I wanted it to be special. I came up with this kind of a mini book with quotes inside. Here's a quick step-by-step tutorial, enjoy!

Christmas crafting. It's my absolute FAVORITE!!! There's something so magical about it... white cardstock everywhere, glittery snowflakes, christmas carols, Pepsi playing (and steeling) jingle bells that end up all over the place (how lovely...), bakers twine, the candlelight, and ... call my crazy, but the smell of hot glue gun reminds me of christmas crafting, too! I. LOVE. IT. ALL. I had to made a video, of course! And I reaaally hope you'll like it :-)

Milujem Vianoce - a obdobie pred ním - a ešte presnejšie vianočné tvorenie! Úplne najviac mi tú atmosféru vie navodiť "vôňa" lepidla z tavnej pištole :-D Myslím, že prvú tavnú pištol som si kúpila okolo Vianoc, asi preto :-) Okrem tejto divnej úchylky samozrejme aj vianočné koledy, svetlo sviečky, bakers twine, trblietavé vločky, rolničky... rolničky po celom byte (vďaka Pepsi...) ... no je to proste TEN čas v roku... ♥

Aj tento rok tu mám videjko z mojej dielne :-) Enjooooy! :-*

I miss scrapbooking! If you read my blog, you know that I've decided to dedicate more time to my little business this year. But I still craft - especially for the Citrus Twist Kits each month.

My kit was a bit late this month and then I just couldn't find time to scrapbook... But i DID on this lovely Saturday :)

I got everything done in the morning (cleanin, washing my hear and laundry) and then I had a BLAST crafting! I missed it so much!

Asi už viete (ak tu občas zablúdite), že v tomto roku som sa rozhodla dať scrapbook trochu bokom, aby som sa mohla viac venovať grafike a mojim obchodíkom. Ale scrapbook mi chýba!!! Nevzdala som sa ho úplne, stále tvorím pre Citrus Twist Kits a každý mesiac dostávam nový kit na tvorenie. Tento mesiac trochu meškal a keď konečne dorazil, mala som toľko práce, že som si naňho našla čas až dnes! 

Tu je zopár z Februárových projektov z krásneho pastelovo-ružového kitu :)

Today I'd like to share with you my new video.

Let's say it's not too soon for christmas stuff anymore as advent is just around the corner :) So, yes - it's about christmas inspiration.

Advent je tu čo nevidieť, už aj námrazu máme v noci :D  ... a tak tu mám dnes pre vás najnovšie video s vianočnou tematikou.  Zopár nápadov na vianočné pohľadnice, kde stačí málo pre vytvorenie jednoduchej, no elegantnej pohľadnice. Zoznam použitého materiálu nájdete v popise videa - a vo videu si zahrala aj mačička Pepsi :D

papero amo MAY KIT showcase part 1.

Hi and happy month of MAY! :D Today there's a showcase on Papero Amo's blog with the beautiful projects from their DT members - we got their may kit that is just awesome and includes some pretty embellishments like sequins, MME brads, Sodalicious wood veneer, Amy Tan's alpha thickers, Papero Amo camera stamp, some vellum speech bubble shapes, Scrapperin's "Belle Pastelle" 12x12 papers... well, only beautiful things, here they are!

Dnes, 1. mája štartuje na blogu Papero Amo májový kit s úžasnými vecičkami na tvorenie. Tu je len náhľad, celý zoznam, ako aj ukážky toho, čo sa z neho dá vytvoriť, nájdete v príspevku na stránke. 

Ja som stihla vytvoriť zopár 12x12 stránok, pohľadníc a jeden zápisníček. Tu sú pohľadnice a zápisník :)

Papero Amo projects

I've recently made two projects for Papero Amo as a DT member. The first one's called "5 essentials" and I had to choose 5 products I would work with and that would be "essential" :) I came up with "Rome, my beloved city" page. I love how the background color of the paper fits with the sunset sky on the photo!

The second project was a DIY. As the Easter is just around the corner, I've decided to make a tutorial about how to create an easter card with a kinda 3D effect :D Here's the sneak, have a look at the blog post at PA here.

Tento týžden Papero Amo uverejnil dva moje projekty, vytvorené práve pre nich :) Prvým je "5 essentials", projekt, kde je základom vybrať si 5 vecí, ktoré budú dominantné. Príspevok nájdete TU.

Druhým príspevkom bol návod na výrobu veľkonočnej pohľadnice s tak trochu 3D efektom :) Celý návod nájdete tiež na blogu Papero Amo :)

exciting news!

This is my exciting news I couldn't wait to share with you: 

I have my very own clear stamp set! :)

Oh yeah! :D I got this idea quite some time ago. As scrapbooking is not very well known in my country - yet! - I was thinking about designing a clear stamp set with some words in slovak. And then a dream came true. I recieved a package after Christmas and was overflowed by joy while photographing them, writing promotional articles etc. The set is called "Priania" that means "Wishes" and contains 20 clear stamps with words you can combine to get sentiments like "happy birthday" or "merry christmas". And as I'm writting this, there are already some of them travelling to their future owners ;)

Na písanie tohto článku som sa tešila už dosť dlho :) Ak ste na Sashe alebo sledujete scrapper.sk, tak ste už o nich určite počuli, no nemôžem o nich nenapísať na môj blog. Je to určite jeden z mojich splnených snov a lepší štart do nového roku - čo sa týka môjho tvorivého sveta - som si ani nemohla želať :) Sada obsahuje 20 priehľadných silikónových pečiatok so slovenskými nápismi.Hodia sa najmä na cardmaking - výrobu pohľadníc. Potrebujete k nim pečiatkovaciu podušku a akrylový blok. Naň sa pečiatka nalepí a môžete pečiatkovať. Slová sa dajú navzájom kombinovať a vytvárať rôzne priania. Sú vhodné aj na scrapbooking, obsahujú aj slová ako "spomienky, chvíle, prázdniny..." a tiež obrázky. Ak radi tvoríte, táto sada sa vám určite zíde ;) 

Stále zostáva zopár kúskov za uvádzaciu cenu: 10,49 eur v mojom SAShE obchodíku (vypredané).

Potom sa budú predávať za pôvodnú cenu 11,99 eur v mojom obchodíku s materiálom na scrapbooking.

Christmas cards sneek peak

It is a rainy day today, but there are still reasons to be happy though :D I am officially a Design Team member of Creative Scrappers :) Check their reveal post HERE. I'm so so happy and thankful for this great opportunity of being part of this great sketch blog and a team full of tallented girls! :)

And, I know it is a bit soon but I've been busy making Christmas cards already! It's crazy but this year I'm looking forward to Christmas since August!!! So here are some of them :)

Od dnes som oficiálne členom Design Team-u Creative Scrappers :) Je to super vidieť svoju fotku na fantastickom kanadskom blogu medzi ostatnými talentovanými scrapperkami! Tu je ich dnešný príspevok s prezentáciou nového tímu. 

Ďalším mojím dôvodom na radosť je moje "tešenie sa na Vianoce" už asi od augusta! :D Začala som už s tvorbou pohľadníc a tu je niekoľko z nich. Nájdete ich aj v mojom obchodíku na SAShE.

CS plus some new BABY CARDS

I'm really busy lately but I ALWAYS find the time for scrapbookin :) Here's my page for Creative Scrappers, sketch nr. 226 - it is actually the very first page of the album I've just started - aaaaall about my mum :-* Hope I'll finishi it before Christmas, hehe :D

And I've also made some cute baby cards. I just HAD to share them with you - 'coz I really like them :) I mean, this is kinda my style, I think so ... I'm just glad I've started to realise how my style look like :)

Off for August

I'm going back to Rome in August, and as it is only for one month, I'm not going to bring all my krafty stuff for scrapbooking, snif! I will miss it!!! So I'm going to take another break from blogging and I will see you in September :-) And I had to put some pictures (i don't like posts without photos and color), so here are some cards and cookbooks I made recently, using a sewing machine (I totally fell in love with sewing the paper!)  :-)

Moje putovanie pokračuje a v auguste budem zasa mimo domu, vraciam sa ešte na mesiac do Ríma. Zatiaľ sa teda musím rozlúčiť so scrapbookingom, ale už sa teším na tvorenie v septembri! A ešte sa chcem podeliť so zábermi zopár pohľadníc a kuchárskych zápisníkov, ktoré som vytvorila nedávno. Konečne som sa dostala k šijaciemu stroju a ten sa za pár dní stal jedným z mojiich najobľúbenejších nástrojov na scrapbooking :-)

Recycling and happy mails

I was supposed to babysit this afternoon. But after waiting for about 45 minutes on a bus, I decided it was too much... I called the family and said I couldn't come and went back home. And then a super creative afternoon started. YEAH! Finally I have HOURS just for crafting! Thank you italian chaos and roman buses that are always late :-)

I put music really loud and crafted for hours, literally. Soo, first of all, I made some envelopes from a cardstock but also from some recycled paper, I even used some old maps :-)

And I finished a card for a friend of mine, using a patterned black and white paper, alphabet stamps and lots recycled stuff again:

"Do a Doodle" challenge card

Day 341 on the 365Cards and the task is: Do a Doodle on your card. To make it more original, I decided to make a wool doodles :) It is also kinda Valentine's day card because of the "Love is in the air" writing.
