december daily 20-24

These are the last pages of my December Daily for 2013.

It was fun to document every single day that was leading to christmas and definitely a great experience! It made me think of the highlights of each day and christmas preparations became more intense.

A tu sú už posledné stránky môjho December Daily na rok 2013. Dokumentovať každý jeden deň pred Vianocami bola zaujímavá skúsenosť. Núti vás to zamyslieť sa, ako napĺňate dni a v predvianočnom čase je to ešte zaujímavejšie, vianočné prípravy sa tak stanú ešte zaujímavejšie :)

Without too much chattering, here are the pages from day 5 to day 19. I've used my own papers plus some pages are part of the Papero Amo december reveal, I've used PA's december kit. Here we go!

december daily pg 4 and photos from Rome!

I finally got to choose and edit some photos from Rome. It was such a sunny and warm week that it was reaaaally hard to get back to wintery/christmassy mood afterwards!

Here's page 4 - about my room mate in Rome, Maximus :D I stayed at my friend's house and this is her cat. Oh, it's one gorgeous cat!

More pages to come soon, now here are some highlights from this awesome roman week!

It was such an amazing time and I'm so thankful to still have these great friends there and be able to go visit whenever I want to! :)

Now I'm off to christmas cleaning, baking, decorating... and scrapbooking!

Týždeň v Ríme preletel ako voda, no po návrate mi všetko pripadalo, ako by som tam bola aspoň mesiac :D Po takomto slnečnom a teplom týždni bolo naozaj ťažké znovu sa preorientovať do zimnej a vianočnej nálady (vlastne ten proces ešte stále trvá... ). Tu je teda zopár fotiek a na začiatku deň 4 z December Daily: Maximus, môj spolubývajúci počas pobytu v Ríme :)

december daily 2013:: pages 1-3

Hello and happy december again!

As promised, here is the blog post where I'd like to share first three pages from my December Daily that I've prepared in advance (as while you read this, I'm having fun in Rome :D )

1st page:: is about december in general. Man, it truly is such a cool month of the year! Lots of stuff is gonna happen, so I've decided to dedicate the first page to a little planning :)

2nd page:: now this is really hard. Here's the little story. I blogged about the kitty we found on Sept 2 on the street. We literally saved her life, she stayed with me and I took care of her, while looking for a new home for her. Eventually - just before leaving for Italy, a friend of mine proposed to keep her for some time (and maybe she'll fall in love with her just like I did and keep her ;) ) and on this day - Dec 2 - I brought her to her new home. I'm not gonna lie - I teared up while creating this page :') 'cause this little creature got my heart in these 3 months! She's a pretty little lady now and I wish her best luck and much love in her new home! I will miss you Pepsi!

3rd page:: ok, enough of getting emotional! :) Today - on Dec 3 I'm flying to Rome! I call this city "Rome, my second home" ;) It's been more than one year since I've seen the eternal city for the last time! I'm so excited! Tickets are ready, let's go!

Ako som sľúbila, tu je prvý príspevok s prvými stránkami December Daily:

1.stránka:: je o tom, čo ma čaká počas tohto skvelého mesiaca :) Musím sa priznať, že zima nie je práve jedno z mojich obľúbených ročných období... no december je čarovný mesiac. A tento rok je nabitý aktivitami a zážitkami! Na jeho počesť som sa tak rozhodla venovať prvú stránku takej menšej rekapitulácii :)

2.stránka:: je o zachránenom mačiatku Pepsi. V tento deň totiž Pepsi odišla do nového domova. O jej príbehu som písala v tomto článku na SAShE. Pepsi u mňa bola presne 3 mesiace. Za ten čas si získala moje srdce a mne bude za ňou veľmi smutno! Ďakujem Kristínke, že sa jej ujme, kým sa jej nenájde trvalý domov. 

3.stránka:: check-in spravený, môžem letieť do Ríma, môjho druhého domova! :)

december daily 2013

Hi all!

This year I've decided to participate in december daily for the first time! Christmas is such a beautiful and magical time of the year - so, if you put christmas and scrapbooking together  -  that will make december daily! :)

I've made the cover and the base pages quite some time ago and now I finally got some pictures of it - so here is my first post about it :)

As my budget didn't really allow me to order the Studio Calico kit, I thought - why not using my own designs?! Yes, I've designed some christmas patterned papers that can be found (and purchased) in my etsy store and they look like that:

And I have just realized that I have blogged about them already ... hehe :)

For now I have just the cover and the pages that hold together with a clip - as I'm sure I will do some sewing on the pages later on. So I keep them separated for now and when finished, I'll glue the two respective pages together and sew on the borders as well.

I don't have the numbers ready neither. I've just cut the circles and will add numbers as I go according to the colors I'll use on each page, so that they will match.

Well, that's pretty much for now! I leave for Rome on December 3, but will set a blog post to share my first pages with you ;) xxx

December Daily - u nás na Slovensku v scrapbookovom svete ešte asi veľká neznáma, no dnes by som sa s vami chcela podeliť o pár fotiek a nápadov - a vlastne aj napísať o tom, čo to vlastne je :)

December Daily si prvýkrát začala robiť Ali Edwards v roku 2008. Ide o dokumentovanie 25 dní do Vianoc vo vianočnom albume. Ten si buď kúpite alebo vytvoríte - a najlepšie pripravíte všetko dopredu tak, aby - ako hovorí Ali - boli stránky pripravené už na vkladanie fotografií a ozdobovanie a aby tak dokumentovanie 25 dní do Vianoc bola zábava a nie stres :) Pripraviť si teda treba obal, základné stránky a čísla od 1 - 25 pre každú stránku. Na toto tvorenie ponúka Studio Calico vianočný kit, ktorý je skvelý a poštovné neplatíte, no 100 dolárov bolo pre mňa i tak veľa, a tak som sa rozhodla pre môj prvý December Daily použiť moje vlastné dizajny. Digitálny balíček nájdete v mojom etsy obchodíku - ja som si vzory vytlačila na výkresy a skombinovala s ďalšími čistými výkresmi tak, aby som si pripravila 25 obojstranných stránok. Zatiaľ držia pohromade len spinkami, pretože na nich plánujem šiť, alebo použiť svorky - a tak aby to nebolo vidieť na zadnej strane som si radšej stránky zopla týmto spôsobom. Keď už budú ozdobené, zlepím ich a okraje ešte prešijem. Obálka je jednoduchá, elegantná, obsahuje len nápis a bakers twine s rolničkou. Čísla na stránky tiež nemám pripravené - vystrihla som si biele kruhy s priemerom cca 3,5 cm, na ktoré doplním čísla podľa farebnosti danej stránky - aby spolu ladili.

To je môj december daily na tento rok, pripravený na fotografie, zážitky, zimné a vianočné spomienky :) 3.decembra odchádzam do Talianska, no určite nastavím nejaký príspevok dopredu, aby som sa s vami podelila o prvé stránky.
