I consider Rome my second home. I spent 5 years living and working in this city and still love it so much! I enjoyed these few days in eternal city as much as I could. Ate pizza, got gelato, walked a LOT, met friends that still live there. And I stayed at a friend - my sould mate - who has the most beautiful cat in the world. I love you Roma! ♥

Rím už považujem za svoj druhý domov. Bývala a pracovala som tam 5 rokov a stále sa tam veľmi rada vraciam. Po roku a pol už bolo znova načase :-) Navštíviť priateľov, dať si pizzu a zmrzlinu, prejsť sa voňavými a slnečnými lúčmi vyhriatymi uličkami, posedieť si na Námestí Sv. Petra... :-)

december daily pg 4 and photos from Rome!

I finally got to choose and edit some photos from Rome. It was such a sunny and warm week that it was reaaaally hard to get back to wintery/christmassy mood afterwards!

Here's page 4 - about my room mate in Rome, Maximus :D I stayed at my friend's house and this is her cat. Oh, it's one gorgeous cat!

It was such an amazing time and I'm so thankful to still have these great friends there and be able to go visit whenever I want to! :)

Now I'm off to christmas cleaning, baking, decorating... and scrapbooking!

Týždeň v Ríme preletel ako voda, no po návrate mi všetko pripadalo, ako by som tam bola aspoň mesiac :D Po takomto slnečnom a teplom týždni bolo naozaj ťažké znovu sa preorientovať do zimnej a vianočnej nálady (vlastne ten proces ešte stále trvá... ). Tu je teda zopár fotiek a na začiatku deň 4 z December Daily: Maximus, môj spolubývajúci počas pobytu v Ríme :)

Pretty fall colors this time over at LPS! It's color challenge time again!

Here's my page. While living in Rome, I used to work as a receptionist in a hotel, where - when working in the morning - we had this yummi breakfast: fresh croissants with nutella and cappuccino. Oh, so good! I usually hate when I have to wake up early in the morning (and the morning shift was starting at 7am!!!) but a breakfast like that always made my day :)

The colors of the photo were perfect for the brown part of the color palette. I've used some buttons from October Afternoon, AC alpha thickers, a little bit of washi and some patterned papers and tissue paper for layering. Not a lot - as usual :D

I really, REALLY like September's colors over at LPS blog! That kind of green is one of my favourite colors and the photo of this armchair was just a perfect fit :) As the journaling says, I used to have this armchair in my room in Rome and it felt quite posh to sit there while reading or having a drink ;) So, yes - I took a photo of my armchair with my teddies and a book, lol!

Podľa mňa je úplne skvelá a tento odtieň zelenej patrí medzi moje obľúbené farby - preto som aj na stránke použila fotku kresla v tejto farbe :) Mala som ho v mojej izbe v Ríme bolo super čítať si v ňom knihu alebo dať si drink, človek sa cítil tak trochu luxusne :D Takže som si ho až odfotila a teraz o ňom spravila stránku pre LPS :)

hello september! (and bye-bye summer...)

Here' s my first blog post about LPS challenge on my new website :)

And here's my layout! It's a page about friendship - I've used Elle's Studio's journaling tag, AC thickers, some tissue paper, embelishments, white thread, white cardstock and chevron 12x12 paper (that I don't remember which mark it is, hehe) and a picture of my friends and me in Rome. It's from Easter 2 years ago. How I MISS those times!!!

It's incredible how time flies by! And I find myself here again, blogging about another LPS challenge... 

It's lots of orange this time and (in my case) a big circle again! :) I've scrapped a picture of me and my dear friend, we're eating pizza in our favourite restaurant in Rome on a Friday night. How I miss those times!!!

Here comes another sketch challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook! For this challenge, I've decided to scrap two pictures of me and my two friends: Aneta, who went with me to the australian football match in Rome - and Bernard, our aussie friend that has played! I'm sharing with you today few pages I made for Papero Amo, using their APRIL KIT that contains pieces from I Lowe Scrap and Sodalicious. I LOVED working with that kit, it is just so my style :)
