london 2016

Už dlhšie sme si so súrodencami plánovali nejaký výletík. Vybrať si cieľovú destináciu nám netrvalo dlho. Z Popradu nelieta veľa letov, ale jeden z tých mála je aj Londýn. Nebolo nad čím rozmýšľať :-) 

Wizzair to zatiaľ istí, hlavný letuš mierne neprofesionálny :D ale za dve hodinky sme už boli v tom úžasnom meste s ešte úžasnejšou atmosférou.

Z Lutonu sme mali kúpené lístky do centra cez EasyBus, ak si kúpite včas, výjdu vás aj na 2 libry, čo je super cena. Ubytko zasa cez booking.com - apartmán za celkom fajn cenu, s telkou, kde sme si večer na chvíľu pozreli Star Trek so Spockom alebo McGyvera :-D Bol v pokojnej časti Islington, ešte vždy zóna metra 1. 

No a čo sme za tie tri dni stihli, to sme stihli. Hlavne pozrieť a odfotiť Big Bena, Westminster, London Bridge a tak. Dvaja najmladší bratia boli v Londýne prvýkrát, tak to sa musí :-) A čo som zas musela ja, to bolo 2x prejsť Oxford Street :-D Neshopingovala som zas až tak veľa, ale predsa niečo - mini haul z toho už čoskoro ako ďalší post :-) 

Tu je zopár fotečiek z nášho výletíku, bolo fajn, počasíčko tiež vyšlo, teším sa znova (lebo som nevošla do Superdrug! - to musím napraviť :-D)

ISRAEL

I can't say that spending this Easter in Holy Land was a dream come true. It was never my dream to travel to Israel. Yet this country stole my heart and while being in Jerusalem I was already planning another trip! 

I can't tell you what it was, but there's definitely something about it... the culture, the people, the atmosphere of the place... THAT place! The promised land... I think I'm in love :-D

december love

The older I get the more I love Christmas. That might sound weird as it's usually kids who count sleeps until Christmas... but I do. And everything Christmas related, including winter - and that's something! (fyi: I hate being cold!)

I love december, the time of advent, preparation for christmas, baking, decorating, making and sending christmas cards... And despite lots of work I have right now I'm trying to enjoy this time.

It's Sunday today (as I'm writting this post) and I spent the day at my parent's house. I took a nap in the afternoon while some christmas music was on and when I woke up, it was already dark, the little christmas lights were on, christmas music still playing... and I loved it! These are those little moments that count. ♥

I'm planning on making a vlog (although I keep feeling a bit narcistic about it...haha), I mean my first reeeeeal vlog for my youtube channel, all about getting ready for christmas and enjoying the lovely month of december... I already have some videos and photos and it's looking great so far, so I couldn't resist and I'm going to share my pre-christmas excitement with you :-)

Btw, my INSTAGRAM looks quite christmassy already... ;-)

month in review // november

I thought I would "review" the month of November a little differently. I had that idea about changing a little bit the whole concept of my blog/youtube/instagram (yes, another change!) and inject more "life" into my posts! I didn't travel these past months, yet life is great and interesting and precious the same! I love to document life through scrapbooking pages and photographs... and maybe vlogs some time soon! 

august harvest

Aj keď je ešte stále leto, na konci augusta už podvečer cítiť chladnejší vzduch, jeseň je za dverami a na záhradke už dozrieva ovocie a zelenina. Ešte pred rokom by som cítila nostalgiu a smútok za letom, teplými slnečnými a dlhými dňami, ktoré vystriedajú chladné dni, kedy sa rýchlo zotmie... No v posledných dňoch som sa nejak viac začala zamýšľať nad vecami, životom (ó áno, ďalšia z mojich filozofických chvíľok :-D ) a teraz sa už na jeseň teším.

Teším sa na babie leto, teplé svetre a papuče, gaštany, na to, že si večer spravím čaj. To, že každé ročné obdobie má svoje čaro, nie je len fráza. Postupne na to prichádzam aj ja... och, asi už starnem :-D

Pred pár minútami (doslova!) som na jednom z mojich obľúbených blogov u Whitney objavila instagramovú challenge a hneď ma zaujala - zatiaľ som sa do žiadnej nezapojila - ale to už o chvíľu nebude platiť :3
Vyzerá to byť zábava, ak máte účet na instagrame, pridajte sa! Nemusíte pridávať fotky každý deň, stačí aj občas - hlavne ich treba označiť ako #21dayphotoproject a pridávať podľa tém na každý deň. Začíname 13. marca, ale pridať sa môžete kedykoľvek.

canon 1200d

Hello new Canon 1200D !

This is the photo I've posted on my instagram few days ago. It might not be a super professional camera but what a difference compared to my small pocket camera I was using until now!

I'm so excited! And I have two reasons:

1. I have a new camera :D

2. I was able to buy it thanx to my little business and what I saved up from it! YAY!!!

Here are some shots I've made. I can't wait to go and photograph outdoors, but also the new products for my shop :) Coming by the end of January!

 

my christmas // winter wonderland

I spent christmas with my family - as I do every year. There was nothing different or special - I mean the same traditions and everything - and yet - everything about it so special! Being together, traditional supper, christmas tree with colorful lights, midnight mass - because yes, it's all about baby Jesus! It's simply the most wonderful time of the year :)

My christmas decoration: white and silver, cones, candles, snowflakes... and a little deer ^_^

road trip 2013

Last week me and my brothers (that means my 3 brothers and 1 sister ;) ) went on a little road trip. We spent a weekend on the road and managed to visit a lake, a zoo and "Vlkolinec - a remarkably intact settlement of 45 buildings with the traditional features of a central European village" 8-) ) . All this in one day!

We spent the night in a camp and headed to Trnava on Sunday. Our forth (!!!) brother lives there, so we spent that day with him. He took us to the rope center (if that is the right word...) where he works. It was fun for my younger brothers but definitely NOT for me. Just by thinking about that my heands start to sweat!!!

Well, here are some pictures I took. It was fun! Hope to go on another road trip soon ;)

Minulý týždeň som spolu s mojimi troma bratmi a sestrou strávila na cestách. Nazvali sme to "Cesta okolo Slovenska", aj keď v skutočnosti to až tak "okolo" nebolo :D Mali sme na to len víkend, za ktorý sme stihli v sobotu Liptovskú Maru, Vlkolínec a Zoo v Bojniciach. Noc sme strávili v kempe pri Piešťanoch a v nedeľu sme už boli v Trnave, kde býva náš ďalší braček :) Ten nás poobede vzal do lanového centra, kde pracuje. Bolo to síce od neho milé a moji mladší bratia sa bavili, ale stres, ktorý som zažila ja za tie dve hodiny čo sme tam boli mi vystačí až do konca roka... No posúďte sami z fotografií...

No bol to skvelý víkend a ja sa už teším na ďalší výlet,  tentokrát možno na opačnú stranu Slovenska :)

and who's the winner?

It was another lovely day yesterday, sunny and warm. The past two weeks were like that. We decided to go out a little, even if the dark clouds were menacing us already - and then it started to rain! A real storm! Oh I LOVE it when it rains and you are on the road! I HAD to take plenty of pictures and now I HAVE to post them here :D (and I think I fell in love with taking picture in black and white :)

Včerajší prvomájový deň bol krásny a slnečný, ako už takmer posledné dva týždne. Tak sme sa s mamkou a so sestrou rozhodli trochu si vyjsť do prírody, i keď čierne mračná už hrozivo viseli na oblohe. A tak sa aj stalo, že na polceste sa spustila búrka... Milujem tú atmosféru a vôňu dažďa, musela som spraviť asi tisíc fotiek :D Tu je taká menšia koláž :)

getting ready for christmas

Everyone's getting ready for Christmas and so am I and my family. I love when everything outside is white and quiet and frosty and cold while you and your dear ones stay indoors, baking christmas cookies, listening to christmas carols and you can feel love everywhere. I just love this time of the year! This is a must-share picture: christmas decorations, christmas baking (with my sweet mama) and christmas crafting, of course! ♥
