Hey all! It's no secret I'm a cat lover! And that's what my new page for Papero Amo is about. First I've created a sketch (as I was creating the whole sketch challenge for this month) and then a page accordingly. 

AAAND I've received a new package from SIZZIX UK full of new awesome embossing folders, dies and framelits - and even the matching clear stamps! So I had to try it straight away! (the "today" stamp and thinlit and also the speech bubble for the journaling) :)

V najnovšej sketch challenge na blogu Papero Amo nájdete sketch v "mriežkovanom dizajne", ktorý je práve teraz jeden z mojich najobľúbenejších :) Spojený s ďalšou "obľúbenosťou" - mačkami  - vznikol layout CAT LOVER ^_^ Hneď som naň použila novinky z balíčka od Sizzix UK - pečiatku a vyrezávaciu šablónu "today" a tiež ďalšiu vyrezávaciu šablónu v tvare speech bubble na journaling.

Yes, this is my last page and post for stuck?!sketches. The first term came to an end and I've decided to step down from the team. I like to do things 100% (or TRY to do them 100%, haha), and I don't think it would be possible with so many new projects and things that are going on right now. I'm SO thankful to Laura for having me! Being on this awesome  team was really a great experience :)

No (April the 1st) joke. This is what I get to see every single day from my window - except when it's cloudy :) It's pure magic with sunset like this. This beautiful mountain is a natural border between Slovakia and Poland. That's my hometown and that's where I live right now :)

1st feature - LO for stuck?!

Being featured in a magazine for the first time is a big thing and definitely deserves a mention on one of my scrapbooking layouts :) In January, my tutorial about making a valentine card was featured in slovak version of "Mollie Makes" and here's a layout I made about it. I flipped the sketch and added some doilies on top of the page.

stuck?!sketches - Feb 1st

It´s February (already!!!) and Stuck?!Sketches brings you another challenge and another great sketch to play with!

Here´s my page. I´ve bought a hyacinthus few weeks ago and it looked just like on the picture below. I´m not a flower expert so I didn´t expect it to grow and bloom in ONE week! :D (will scrap a picture of actual flower later :) )

15th Jan sketch challenge...

... over at Stuck?!Sketches! Here comes one really great sketch and  my page is (for the first time in my scrappy carrer lol) about me. I've turned 30 on the 14th Jan, so I thought I'd scrap a picture of myself. Yes. And I'm glad there's no journaling, I wouldn't know what to say! lol (and - yes - I've used flowers instead of hearts, that would be kinda narcistic to put hearts all around my head... :D )

Je polovica januára a na blogu Stuck?! Sketches nájdete nový sketch a novú challenge. Sketch je naozaj fajn, páči sa mi a som rada, že neobsahuje žiadny journaling - neviem, čo také by som napísala k vlastnej fotografii, keďže som sa po prvýkrát odhodlala spraviť stránku "na vlastnú počesť" (haha), keď už som včera oslávila tú tridsiatku...

LPS december sketch challenge

Here's the last sketch challenge of the year over at Life.Paper.Scrapbook! I know it's december, but I had some photos left to scrap from the past few months, so I've made a page about one of our lovely, peaceful and calm Sunday afternoons we used to have this autumn. With some coffee (or latte) and pie :)

Fun fact: it's a poppy seed cake, considered opium in most of other countries, lol!

Here's my take on the sketch. Documenting the new appartement that I share with my sister since April this year. It's new and pretty! Love it :)

We are right in the middle of November and that means new sketch challenge over at Stuck?!Sketches is up!

I would describe this sketch as "friendly" :D It's simple, yet playful and a really pretty page could come out if you use it as a starting point for your layout. Here's mine, bright and full of pastel colors as usual :) I felt kinda dumb while taking a picture with a rabbit... haha :D but, well, that's the only photo with my bunny I have. (maybe just because it really does feel stupid to take a picture with a bun...) :)

Sme v polovici novembra a na Stuck?!Sketches je čas na novú sketch challenge! Nový sketch je naozaj "príjemný" a myslím, že každý si príde na svoje :) 

Pre svoju stránku som použila fotku s mojou zajačicou - je jediná ktorú mám - a asi aj budem mať, keďže fotiť sa so zajacom mi príde trochu... moc. :D

New reveal at Stuck?!Sketches today - with some new DT members - including me ;)

I'm excited to be part of this great DT and to create layouts using their really cool sketches! Here's my first one - and I like it soo  very much! I flipped the vertical position of the photos, but except this little change I followed the sketch, cause I love the big banner behind and the circle and the stars. Isn't it just great? Here's my page about my favourite nail polish - it's actually from Twilight collection and it's called "Jacob's protection" :D

This  time, the sketch challenge over at Life.Paper.Scrabpook is a little special. We are using a sketch from our sponsor SCRAPBOOK GENERATION, that has a lovely story behind. It's actually a family business, run by two sets of sisters: Debbie Sanders and Karin Rush, and Debbie's daughters Stacey Atchley and Allison Davis. They sell and distribute sketches and sketch books for scrapbooking and cardmaking and also produce kit clubs.
